I am the Founder and CEO of Shakeout, a consulting business assisting athletes during their transition out of competitive athletics. Additionally, I am an Inclusion & Collaboration Senior Business Leader at Cisco Systems. Professionals and businesses enjoy working with me because I inspire and equip senior leaders to build the most collaborative teams in their industry, fostering a culture of belonging that accepts each team member’s unique identities and experience.

Growing up in the heart of Silicon Valley provided me a unique lens into the technology and entrepreneurial industries at a young age. While I always fostered a love for technology, the majority of my life was primarily focused on sports.

I was fortunate enough to compete at the Division I collegiate level, but my career came to and end due to injury. From the struggles I encountered as an athlete dealing with Life After Sports, I realized there was a gap in the world of competitive athletics. Shakeout, was created to fill that gap.

Juggling a 9 to 5 while being an entrepreneur proves to be no simple task.

For a period in time I was managing business school in the midst of starting my own business, while working at Cisco. You see, when you are truly passionate about something you are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and be successful.

I often witness people get excited about starting a side hustle, wanting to get paid for a job they truly love, essentially turning their PASSION into PROFIT. Whether you want to become an entrepreneur, find a corporate job you love, or do both; my mission is to enable individuals to see the light within themselves and motivate them to accomplish any goal they wish to achieve.
